For trailers over 2000 kg GTM it is a requirement that, should the tow vehicle and trailer separate accidentally, that the trailer brakes are applied at full power for a minimum period of 15 minutes. Australian Design Rule mandates that all trailers having a gross trailer mass over 2,000 kg should utilise a break-away safety system on all wheels. Emergency braking system must also be capable of automatically activating should the trailer become detached from the tow vehicle. In such a situation the brakes must remain active for a minimum of 15 minutes. TrailSafe is a highly effective break-away safety system designed to activate the electric brakes of a trailer or a caravan in the event of a disconnection from the towing vehicle. TrailSafe takes convenience a step further by utilising the trailer's house battery to power the brakes in a break-away situation. This means there is no need to maintain a second battery in your trailer throughout the year. TrailSafe also provides an indication of the charge status of the house battery. It also checks the condition of the pull pin and effective activation of the brakes.
This is transmitted through a wire to a remote monitor, as well as by Bluetooth wireless to the optional TrailCheck. If the towing vehicle becomes separated from the trailer, mechanical pull pin is removed from TrailSafe, thus detecting disconnection. Upon disconnection, the brakes and brake lights are activated as long as charge remains in the trailer battery or until the pin is replaced.

The Tow Secure automatically applies the trailer brakes and the trailer stop lights in the event that the trailer separates from the tow vehicle. It comprises of a control module, a switch and a wireless receiver (this is housed on the dash so that the driver can monitor the brakes battery via LED and audible alarms). The control module performs a 'self-test' every time the tow vehicles' engine is started to ensure everything is operable and whilst towing, an automatic battery test is carried out every 30 minutes. The control module can be paired with multiple wireless receivers - this may be required if the same trailer is towed by different vehicles.

The incredibly lightweight Dometic CPB101 portable gas BBQ boasts a high heat output of 11.5 MJ/h, powerful enough for all your cooking needs. A spacious cast iron cooking plate and grill with a high dome lid ensure you can feed family and friends at the campsite, outside your caravan or at the beach.
The "drop down" corner steady requires only a small amount of lowering to steady the caravan and can be swung from the horizontal travelling position to a number different angles including the optimum position of vertical.
The AL-KO Big Foot fitted to this drop down corner steady will be found fitted to most caravans/trailers on the Australian Market. This unique product provides the corner steady with a flat load bearing surface, ideal for soft ground. No more carrying around pieces of wood to put under the corner steady on soft ground!
This corner steady has a maximum length of 590mm and is Zinc plated for corrosion resistance.
Bleeding instructions using Sensabrake Pressure Bleed Gun
1. Fill reservoir with clean brake fluid to just below the top of the sight glass.
2. Place the pressure bleed gun socket gently over the neck of the reservoir applying gentle pressure to locate the bleed socket place.
3. Screw the lid in place to secure the socket.
4. Do not push on with excessive force or damage may be caused to the reservoir or the 0 ring on the pressure bleed gun socket.
5. Place the other end of the bleed gun tube into a bottle or container of fresh, new brake fluid.
6. Open the bleed screw (start with the furthermost calliper) at least one full turn. Place a clear flexible hose over the bleed screw and immerse the other end into a container partially filled with brake fluid.
7. Squeeze the pressure bleed gun repeatedly (but not too fast or cavitations may occur) ensuring that the bulk brake fluid tank and the reservoir do not run out of brake fluid or air will enter the hydraulic system. At no stage let the fluid level in the reservoir fall below the minimum fluid level indicator.
8. Continue squeezing the pressure bleed gun until the brake fluid in the flexible hose attached to the bleed screw is free of air bubbles and tighten the bleed screw.
9. Repeat the process with the next furthermost calliper away from the actuator.
10. Bleed the other side of the trailer starting with the closest calliper to the actuator first as above
11. Connect the trailer to the tow vehicle and turn on ignition to activate actuator. Allow the compressor to fully charge the actuator (approx 90 seconds). Once the compressor has stopped apply the brakes, and hold on for a 5 second period and release. Repeat this 4 times.
12. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. It should not exceed the top of the sight glass maximum level.
13. Replace the fluid reservoir cap.

How easy is this!
Detach and position the awning leg vertically, simply slip the Awning Anchor Plate over the bar on the foot of the awning leg. Once in place, screw a Ground Dog screw in peg with orange Wing Collar into each hole of the anchor plate, using a drill driver with the 19mm socket provided, or your stabiliser leg hand crank.
To provide extra anchoring for very windy conditions or when your awning legs are attached, the kit also contains two High-Viz Tie-down Straps with Metal Cam Buckles & two Retaining Clips to stop that annoying strap end piece from flapping around!
Another innovation is the rubber Safety Springs made from strong and weather resistant EPDM rubber compound. The Safety Spring is designed to replace those dangerous metal springs, and a great idea if you have kids running around. They are easily attached to the Tie Down Straps and click into the Hook Collar of the Ground Dog screw in pegs.

Important!
When using this kit with Altitude awnings, or any powered awning, ensure that the awning's power is switched OFF prior to installation! This prevents any sensors the awning has from activating and causing it to retract. If you need to adjust the awning pitch after set up, loosen the pole's straps and lower before adjusting.

A Jockey wheel clamp is used to fit a jockey wheel to your drawbar. This jockey wheel clamp is configured to allow for the jockey wheel to be removed when not in use or the towed trailer is in transit. The clamp is fitted with a steel threaded 90 degree handle. A soft touch coating has been applied to the handle in a high visibility red. The clamp can be either welded or bolted to your drawbar.
